Working model: Hybrid (approx 3 days in the office)

Salary: £27,060 - £29,000 (depending on experience)

About The Goat Agency:

The Goat Agency, part of WPP Media (formerly GroupM), is looking for a creative and motivated Junior Video Editor to join our in-house Campaign Production team. You will be responsible for the creation of engaging and high-quality video content for client projects, including the enhancement of branded influencer content. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative production team within a large agency environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit footage into polished videos for various platforms (social media, websites, internal communications, showreels, etc.).
• Implement brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all projects.
• Understand and execute different video styles and formats, with a particular flair for engaging social content.
• Work with music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance storytelling.
• Color correct and grade footage
• Collaborate with editors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and deliver high-quality results.
• Participate in creative brainstorms and provide input on video concepts, internally and for clients.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.
• Assist with video shoots, including setting up equipment, capturing footage, and managing media.

Role Requirements:

• Solid experience in video editing, including personal or freelance projects.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.
• Experience with shooting video is a plus.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Passion for video editing and storytelling.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software (e.g. After Effects) is a plus.
• Understanding of video codecs, resolutions, and file formats.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of camera operation, lighting, and audio recording.
