We are currently recruiting for a
Kitchen Porter (Maternity Cover) to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in Cambridge CB25.
This is a temporary 6-month contract starting September 2025. Working pattern is Monday to Thursday, 8am to 3:30pm, and Friday 8am to 1pm.

We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.
As our
Kitchen Porter you will maintain the highest standards of service presentation, cleanliness and food preparation, working as part of the team with great customer care skills and attention to detail. Your role is vital to the overall functioning of a kitchen, as it contributes to maintaining a clean, safe, and organised environment for food preparation. The role can be physically demanding and often involves repetitive tasks.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Have experience working in a similar role and environment
- Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
- Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
- Have excellent customer service and social skills
- Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
- Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 5
- Be customer focused
- Have basic food knowledge
- Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
