The main duties of the role will include:
About the team
The Knowledge and Information (KIM) Team sits in the Data Directorate and is concerned with ensuring that Companies House complies with its obligations under Data Protection, Freedom of Information and Public Records legislation. This includes supporting the organisation with data protection advice on project, policy and operational matters, turning round subject access, FOI and data protection requests, and meeting our duties relating to record retention. There is also a requirement to ensure that we have, and can demonstrate, appropriate measures to ensure that knowledge and information is managed in a way that is secure, proportionate, and can be used to best effect.
Where you will be working
You will be aligned to our Cardiff office, where you will be expected to attend on a regular basis. We are currently using a hybrid approach to the way we work which provides opportunities for you to be adaptable in the way you work so that you can achieve a healthy balance between your work and home life.
Working Hours
Due to the nature of this role and team structure, this is only a full-time position of 37 hours per week.

To be eligible for this role you also need to meet our Nationality requirements which are outlined below and also successful candidates must meet the security requirements for Security Clearance (SC) before they can be appointed. To gain (SC) you will need to have been a UK resident for a minimum of 3 years out of the last 5 years.
Companies House also cannot offer Visa sponsorship to candidates through this campaign.
