Knowledge Manager and Operations Support Officer
The Opportunity:
As a Knowledge Manager and Operations Support Officer on our team, you will use your specialized technical expertise to enable operations and intelligence collection to enable the success of mission owners. You will collaborate closely with your customer to understand their inquiries and requirements, and then explore their data-rich environment to uncover the key elements of the information they require. You shall provide KM services with the objective of fostering information sharing and enhancing decision making across the Command. You shall capture individual and organizational knowledge and develop KM strategies utilizing industry best practices and procedures, tailored to the current and potential future requirements of the requesting organization or directorate. You shall utilize SharePoint, Confluence, or any other Government-approved domains to develop and build collaborative environments at both unclassified and classified levels.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to offer guidance, support, and documentation for their KM initiatives and content management solutions.
- Working with stakeholders to evaluate, refine, and document KM architecture tailored to their specific needs.
- Assisting stakeholders in assessing and documenting KM maturity to help advance their initiatives.
- Designing, testing, and deploying KM IT applications securely, while providing ongoing support for stakeholder projects.
- Creating and delivering training materials and sessions for KM and KM IT applications to support stakeholder initiatives.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with advanced data analytic techniques, including data mining, machine learning, statistical analysis, and natural language processing
- 5+ years of experience with programming in an object-oriented programming language, including Java or Python
- Experience in working with massive data sets, including structured and unstructured data, data gathering, data cleaning, data mining, and data visualization
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, MAVEN Smart Systems, Compass AI, CamoGPT, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Science capabilities
- Knowledge of Cloud computing
- Knowledge of statistical methods and statistical programming languages
- Knowledge of dashboard visualization
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques, including neural networks, decision trees, logistic regressions, or dimension reduction
- Experience with data engineering and data science tools
- Experience with processes to operationalize and monitor data science models
- Ability to explain analytic and model findings to a non-technical audience
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidently interfacing with leadership
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
