My client is looking for a Kubernetes / Containers Solution Architect

Outside IR35

Rate: Negiotiable

The Role:

Build and deliver Kubernetes clusters (RKE2/Rancher/GitOps).
Implement Cluster API (CAPI) and Metal3 to automate bare-metal environments.
Contribute to cluster lifecycle automation: node management, upgrades, patching (including air-gapped environments).
Support future evolution into virtualised clusters via the OpenStack CAPI provider.
Integrate with OSS APIs and observability platforms.
Ensure clusters meet TSA and CIS hardening requirements.

The Person

Strong Kubernetes experience (RKE2 preferred), Rancher, GitOps.
Proven experience with CAPI and Metal3.
Security hardening: TSA, CIS benchmark.
Experience integrating with OSS and observability tooling.
