🔬 Laboratory Technician – Research & Development

📍 On-site | Full-time

Ivy Farm Technologies is a pioneering cultivated meat company creating sustainable, ethical alternatives to traditional meat. We’re building the future of food—and we’re looking for a Laboratory Technician to help support our growing R&D team.

This hands-on role will primarily support our Cost Down function, while also providing shared laboratory support across other R&D teams. You’ll play a key part in enabling high-quality research through strong technical execution, organisation, and attention to detail.

What you’ll be doing, but not limited to:

• Preparing and scaling mammalian cell culture media
• Maintaining cell cultures (revival, routine culture, cell banking)
• Supporting DoE studies and sample characterisation
• Preparing reagents and aliquots, and running routine quality tests (e.g. mycoplasma, sterility)
• Owning and maintaining laboratory equipment
• Keeping accurate lab records and supporting a safe, compliant lab environment

What we’re looking for:

• Experience with aseptic technique, sterile handling, and accurate pipetting
• Strong cell culture and laboratory technical skills
• Experience in a biopharma or industrial lab environment
• Organised, detail-oriented, and collaborative working style
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

BSc/MSc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field (industrial experience required). Experience in cultivated meat or alternative proteins is a plus.
