Lead/Senior Auditor – Construction Sector (Built Environment, HS2, National Highways etc)

Home-based (preferably Midlands to South UK) with good transport links to London and the South Coast

About the Role:

We’re seeking a Lead or Senior Auditor with expertise in the construction sector, with prior experience of working on UK large scale construction and infrastructure projects. This home-based role blends remote auditing with regular client site visits, offering a dynamic and impactful opportunity to assess and improve quality, health & safety, and environmental management systems across the industry.

• Quality Manager
• QHSE/SHEQ Manager
• Lead Auditor
• Quality Assurance Specialist
• Certification Auditor
• Compliance Manager

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience in UK construction projects, ideally Built Environment, National Highways, HS2, Crossrail, or other large-scale infrastructure programmes.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, with proven auditing or certification experience.
• Familiarity with National Highways Sector Schemes, sustainable procurement practices, and construction materials (desirable).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct third-party audits, manage client relationships, and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.
• Comfortable with regular travel, working away from home and client-facing work across the UK.
