Assess the product lifecycle(s) from concept, design and development through manufacturing, integration, testing, deployment, in-service support and disposal.
Responsibilities
- Kick-off, stakeholder engagement, discovery workshops.
- CM Maturity Assessment
- Define target operating model for CM
- Draft and approve CM Strategy and CM Plans
- Define tool integration architecture
- Establish CM Governance
- Deploy / Configure CM toolchain
- Develop process documentation and workflow
- Define supplier CM compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering, or demonstrable relevant experience.
- CMII or equivalent
- Holds or has the ability to obtain Incorporated / Chartered Engineer status
Essential Skills
- Strong Programme Delivery skills
- Understanding of Defence Standards
- Lead Stakeholder engagement
- Ownership of Configuration Management strategy
- Profficient in operation of toolsets including, DOORS, Windchill, Teamcenter and Jira.
Experience
- Extensive experience as a Configuration Manager
- Experience within a Consulting environment
