We’re looking for a Lead Credit Risk Analyst to join this high-performing credit strategy team supporting Wealth and Personal Banking initiatives across multiple brands. What You’ll Do

As a Lead Credit Risk Strategy Analyst, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering data-led strategies for unsecured lending portfolios. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, your work will influence credit lifecycle decisions, including acquisitions, account management, and customer treatment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and refining credit strategies that balance risk, reward and customer outcomes.
• Leading end-to-end analytical projects with minimal supervision.
• Presenting clear, actionable insights to inform business decisions.
• Challenging current practices and policies through evidence-based analysis.
• Monitoring and interpreting portfolio performance, identifying trends and risks.
• Ensuring effective risk governance through clear communication and collaboration.
• Fostering an inclusive, high-performing team environment.
• Building strong relationships across departments to drive strategic improvements.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in Retail Credit Risk, especially in strategy or portfolio management.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in SAS, SQL, VBA or Python.
• Ability to manage complex projects and distill insights from large data sets.
• Knowledge of consumer credit products and regulatory expectations (e.g., FCA).
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• A passion for coaching, mentoring, and leading others.
• A degree or relevant experience in a quantitative, analytical, or technical field.
