As the demand for renewable energy talent continues to accelerate, we are expanding our Glasgow team. We're looking for a Lead Crewing Consultant to join our specialist Cables division. In this role, you’ll work alongside the Head of Offshore and Cables to drive strategic growth, coach and mentor a high-performing team, and expand our market presence in the subsea cables space.

The Role

You will take ownership of the Cables market, building and nurturing long-term client and candidate relationships. With the support of a collaborative team, you’ll deliver impactful recruitment solutions and become a subject-matter expert within your field.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead account performance across key existing clients, spotting growth opportunities and improving team productivity.
• Be the go-to expert in the cables team, coaching consultants on account planning, prioritisation and commercial awareness.
• Proactively ensure candidate leads and client queries are actioned with no opportunity going missed.
• Step in to support high-volume accounts and keep service consistent, even under pressure.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with offshore project leaders, crewing managers, and hiring stakeholders.
• Work with the Head of Offshore and Cables to identify and act on gaps, risks, and competitor activity.
• Identify and be proactive to spot new business opportunities across subsea cables and adjacent markets such as heavy lift.
• Strengthen key account relationships and support consultants in maximising commercial value.
• Act as a senior presence in strategic meetings—building trust and showcasing our market-leading expertise.

What you'll bring

• Proven recruitment experience, ideally in energy, marine, or offshore sectors, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to prioritise high-value opportunities.
• Leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for training new consultants and developing existing team to generate a high performing, fast paced team dynamic.
• Confidence in client and candidate engagement, including influencing, negotiating, and driving business development.
• Resilient, proactive, and performance-driven, with a structured approach to account growth and opportunity management.
• Process-focused and tech-savvy, with effective use of platforms like Bullhorn, LinkedIn, and Cube19 to manage pipelines and performance.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
