Up to £85,000 + 15% Bonus

About the Role

I am looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join a Data team and take a technical leadership role within the Data Engineering function. You’ll be central to the optimisation of their analytics platform, helping them unlock the power of data across the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in Snowflake, DBT, Data Vault modelling, and modern data engineering practices in a dynamic and creative industry. You’ll lead by example, setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and ensuring they deliver robust, scalable, and high-value data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for a team of Data Engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and integrations to power analytics and reporting.
• Own and evolve the data architecture for their analytics platform, with a focus on Snowflake, DBT, and Data Vault modelling.
• Contribute to platform strategy, helping to onboard new data sources and optimise existing data sets.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong, hands-on experience with Snowflake (essential).
• Proven expertise in DBT (data build tool) for transformation and modelling(Ideal).
• Strong knowledge of Data Vault modelling and modern data modelling approaches.
• Solid background in data engineering, including building pipelines, optimising models, and delivering production-ready solutions.
• Experience with AWS (ideal, but not essential).
• Strong SQL and data transformation skills; exposure to modern orchestration tools and frameworks is a plus.
• Strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
