Lead Data Scientist

Lead Data Scientist - Hybrid - London based.

I’m supporting a global organisation in the search for a Lead Data Scientist to lead its data science and machine learning capability within a central Data function.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role focused on delivering advanced analytics, ML and AI solutions that drive better decision-making and commercial outcomes across the business.

What you’ll do

• Lead and grow the data science & machine learning chapter
• Deliver analytics, ML and AI solutions using internal and external data
• Provide technical leadership on modelling, experimentation and best practice
• Set standards, tooling and ways of working for reproducible data science
• Recruit, mentor and develop high-performing data science talent
• Champion rapid prototyping and iterative delivery
• Communicate data science innovation across technical and business teams

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience across a range of machine learning techniques
• Advanced statistical capability
• Strong Python skills (other languages a plus)
