Job Title: Lead Investigator with People Relations

Duration: 6+ Months contract initially

Job description:

The Lead investigator role investigates workplace-related claims in compliance with EU, state and local laws and Company policy and initiatives; increases employee confidence by ensuring consistency and fairness in the interpretation and application of Company policy; by providing technical expertise to client groups, and maintaining a collaborative and productive relationship with the Employment attorneys, People & Culture Partners, Security, and other global key stakeholders to resolve complex employment issues.

Work Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience conducting employment related investigations

Knowledge/Skills:

• Demonstrated progressive Human Resources management or employment law experience
• Must be able to demonstrate operative knowledge of Human Resources policies, practices, and procedures including the ACAS Code of Practice on Workplace investigations.
• Must have operative knowledge of applicable local laws governing employment issues in at least one EMEA territory in which client operates.
• Must handle investigations with objectivity and consistency
• Must be able to handle multiple investigations and projects simultaneously
• Must have excellent follow-through and a strong sense of urgency
• Must be able to research and analyze data and findings
• Must be able to utilize diplomacy, assertiveness, and adaptability attributes in dealing with senior executives throughout the organization
• Must be able to handle difficult/highly emotional personalities
• Must be able to exercise keen judgment when analyzing and resolving employment issues
• Must be able to uphold the highest level of confidentiality
• Management has the right to add or change duties and job requirements at any time.
