Description

Manage and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Oversee the implementation and upgrade of technology infrastructure.
Provide technical support and solutions to internal teams.
Develop and enforce IT policies and best practices across the organisation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address technology requirements.
Monitor system performance and implement improvements where necessary.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Lead and mentor the IT team to drive success and innovation.

Profile

A successful Lead IT Specialist should have:

A strong background in IT management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
Proficiency in managing and upgrading complex technology systems.
Experience in implementing IT policies and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Leadership experience to guide and develop an IT team
A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (technical certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Cybersecurity are a plus)
experience in IT infrastructure, site/field support, or cybersecurity roles
Strong knowledge of networking, servers, storage, cloud technologies, and Microsoft environments
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, compliance standards, and IT/OT integration
Experience with automation platforms and low-code tools (e.g., PowerApps, Power Automate)
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement scalable solutions

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills

Ability to mentor and train users and junior IT staff

Willingness to travel occasionally to support regional sites or events

Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
