As the Lead Manager of Regulatory Reporting Change, you will be primarily responsible for keeping abreast of upcoming policy changes from the banks regulators and assessing the impact on Metro Bank, ensuring that the Bank complies with all applicable regulations and protects our customers.
What You Will Do
- Your role will be to help to shape process and system enhancements within the regulatory reporting function.
- This will require you to maintain awareness of key upcoming policy changes from the Banks Regulators and assess the impact on the Bank.
- You will be an SME supporting other members of the Regulatory Reporting teams to ensure that accurate reporting is produced by the Bank in an efficient and effective manner.
- You will actively engage in new product approvals such that we can support the Bank’s growth while meeting our commitments to the regulator.
- Demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills to ensure that changes are appropriately assessed and are delivered to a high standard in a timely manner.
- Any other duties as required that reasonably fall within the role.

What You Will Need

- Ability to keep abreast of regulatory changes in an accurate and timely manner
- Ability to integrate new products into existing regulatory data and integrate new returns into existing regulatory processes
- To champion data quality to develop and enhance reporting
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work towards our reporting deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex regulatory challenges into change requirements.
- Experience of collaborating with internal stakeholders and 3rd party software providers
