Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Lead Mechanic B2 specializing in Avionics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics systems on a variety of aircraft types. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, control and supervision in accordance with Company policies and procedures laid down by the Company and the appropriate regulatory Authority.
• Supervise and control their allocated zone or area to ensure that:
• The aircraft in maintenance is prgressed satisfactorily to meet the re-delivery schedule and;
• Quality standards are maintained for all maintenance, repairs, replacement, overhaul and modifications.
• Provide feedback to team members to encourage continuous improvement, reporting any conduct or capability issues to their Supervisor.
• Liaise with their Supervisor concerning manpower requirements, reporting any shortfalls or surpluses to ensure that the personnel allocated to the zone or area are utilised effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure that all working time man-hours are correctly recorded in accordance with Company procedures.
  

Ensure that their allocated zone or area, including equipment and spares, are serviceable, clean and tidy, reporting any discrepancies to their Supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a B2 aircraft mechanic specializing in avionics.
• Proficient in troubleshooting avionics systems and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of relevant aviation regulations, including CAA Part-66 or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
