An exciting opportunity to join our team as the Lead Midwife for Parent Education. You will be responsible for providing a high-quality antenatal parent education programme tailored to meet the needs of our service users. The role will include leading a programme of parent education courses, valuing the diverse needs of the population using evidence-based practice. The post holder will also work closely alongside the multi-disciplinary team to develop the service further and future proof it.
Lead and deliver a full parent education programme that is customised to meet the needs of the local population
Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the parent education programme.
To act as an advocate for the rights and diverse needs of women, birthing people and their families, creating an inclusive environment, respecting and celebrating diversity.
Remain up to date on current issues to inform the parent education programme and constantly review and improve the service.
