Job Description
Compost Creative is currently looking for a talented and experienced Lead Motion Designer with a keen eye for graphic design to join our creative team in London for a range of exciting projects one a full time basis.
We are looking for someone that demonstrates a strong knowledge of good design and illustration, with also experience with type/layout.
What we're looking for:
- Essential software knowledge with After Effects / Adobe Creative Cloud software and third party plug ins like Maxon Red Giant / Ae scripts
- Navigation in 3D software cinema 4D / Maya is non-essential but would be well received too.
- To maintain good timekeeping, and taking on additional responsibility in respect to bringing task in on schedule.
- Design and create enticing motion graphics for video deliverables (Documentary and Film title sequences, infographic sequences and VFX compositing)
- Prepare design plan, concept and layout for a motion graphic project.
- Create and deliver motion graphics in various media.
- Able to be a team player and good communications skills
- Assist in sharing knowledge and experience with other team members
- Work with editors, producers and other designers to resolve technical and/or design issues.
- Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
- Research and analyse best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.
- Participate in a brainstorming session to share new design perspectives and ideas.
- Assist in pitching / style development.
- Maintain and follow the studio's practices for versioning control, naming convention and organisation of graphic files.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards.
