We are looking to offer an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Podiatrist with excellent knowledge and skills specifically within the area of nail surgery . The successful candidate will have a lead role in strategically planning, governance and operational delivering the nail surgery element of the East Podiatry caseload.
We actively support development both financially and with time released where required.
Main duties of the job
Strategically developing the nail surgery elements
Audit of the nail surgery effectiveness and helping to plan and delivery improvements based on those audits. these may include new standing operating procedures and protocols where indicated.
Overseeing the governance of the nail surgery delivery.
To mentor and develop other members of the nail surgery team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

To be part of a highly motivated team, working independently in both community and acute settings, delivering highly specialist seamless podiatric care to individuals and groups; supporting management of complex cases and promoting empowerment of individuals to self manage their conditions.
To be Team Leader for specialist musco-skeletal Podaitry; to clinically support the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice, acting as a source of expertise. You will be expected to demonstrate specialist knowledge and a high level of personal skill and be responsible for the training, supervision and performance assessment of staff. You will need a sound theoretical knowledge base and be able to demonstrate evidence-based practice.
