We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Lead Paralegal to join our Credit Hire team in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and capable individual to take the next step in their legal career within a highly regarded, fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of complex and high-value credit hire claims
- Providing technical guidance and oversight to junior paralegals and legal assistants
- Reviewing and advising on case strategy, evidence, and risk
- Ensuring compliance with SLA, KPI, and quality standards
- Liaising with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders with professionalism and clarity
- Supporting the team leader with training, performance monitoring, and workflow management
- Contributing to process improvement and knowledge sharing within the department
Essential
- Previous experience handling credit hire or motor claims (defendant experience preferred)
- Strong litigation knowledge and confidence dealing with Part 7 and Part 8 proceedings
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
