The Opportunity
As a Lead Planner within our HPC PMO, you’ll play a pivotal role in the delivery of Hinkley Point C – supporting the UK’s journey to Net Zero. You’ll lead a team of planners across the full project lifecycle, ensuring schedule integrity, strategic alignment and continuous improvement across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning.
At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.
This is a hybrid role, based at any HPC required location – including #Bristol or #Bridgwater with flexibility to work remotely. Salary is competitive.

Who You Are
We’re looking for a Lead Planner who thrives on collaboration, strategic thinking and delivering results. Do you offer…
- Demonstrable experience leading planning teams in complex, regulated industries
- Expertise in Primavera P6, Synchro, Acumen Fuse and Power BI
- Strong understanding of EPC methodologies and integrated planning frameworks
- Experience applying schedule risk analysis and earned value techniques
- Qualifications or equivalent experience in engineering, construction or project controls
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading a team of planners to deliver integrated baseline schedules and critical path execution
- Driving schedule performance, reporting and stakeholder confidence across HPC
- Managing planning interfaces with supply chain partners and internal teams
- Championing continuous improvement and operational learning
- Ensuring compliance with HPC planning standards and digital platforms
