Role Overview
We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer to take ownership of Tosca-based test automation strategy and execution across our Oracle Fusion application landscape. This is a leadership role within a large-scale digital transformation program where you will guide QA automation initiatives, lead a team of automation engineers, and drive the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable test automation solutions.
This role requires deep technical expertise in Tosca, strong experience in Oracle Fusion (ERP, HCM, SCM), and the ability to lead automation frameworks, establish best practices, and collaborate cross-functionally in agile and DevOps-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Architecture, design, development, and maintenance of Tosca test automation frameworks tailored for Oracle Fusion applications (ERP, HCM, SCM).
- Drive Tosca model-based testing, modular test design, and reusable component libraries to enable robust and scalable automation.
- Leverage Oracle-specific Tosca accelerators to optimize automation speed, accuracy, and maintainability.
- Ensure effective integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab), covering both per-commit and nightly executions.
- Guide the team in developing resilient, self-healing scripts compatible with Redwood UX and quarterly Oracle updates.
- Oversee test data strategy for synthetic data generation, GDPR compliance, and test reusability.
- Implement test traceability by mapping test cases to Jira stories, acceptance criteria, and business processes.
- Promote and enforce Tosca best practices: version control, test data management, test case design, and virtualization.
- Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to align QA efforts with agile sprint planning and release goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with Tosca: model-based testing, test case design, test data management, and business component reuse.
- Strong experience in Oracle Fusion applications testing (ERP, HCM, SCM) and Redwood UX compatibility.
- Proven leadership in building and scaling test automation in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD and automated pipeline integration.
- Experience in Jira for agile coordination and test traceability.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for backend validation.
- Oracle Certified Associate in SQL, PL/SQL (preferred or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of modular and scalable automation design principles.

- Experience leading QA in agile, DevOps-driven teams.
- Familiarity with GDPR compliance and test data privacy practices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve test automation issues efficiently.
