Lead QA Engineer - £75,000 - Leicester (Hybrid) - ETL experience

La Fosse has partnered with a leading financial services organisation to recruit a Lead QA Engineer. This role will focus on ensuring the quality and integrity of complex data processes, with a particular emphasis on ETL testing.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in validating large-scale data pipelines, developing automated testing frameworks, and collaborating with data engineering teams to uphold data accuracy, consistency, and performance across systems.

Key responsibilities:

• 6+ years of experience testing data warehouse solutions, including ETL, data pipelines, and cloud platforms like Snowflake.
• Strong knowledge of data quality validation for accuracy, consistency, and completeness in large-scale data systems.
• Skilled in defining and executing data warehouse testing strategies (manual and automated).
• Proficient in creating test plans, test cases, and quality checks across data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks for data warehouse environments.
• Experienced in using tools like dbt to automate data validation and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record in building and leading test teams, mentoring, and aligning QA efforts with business goals.

Compensation:
