High Performance Systems Engineer – London / Remote – Up to £300k + Bonus + Equity
Who: A global trading firm with roots in traditional finance, but what sets them apart is how aggressively they’ve scaled into emerging markets over the past decade. They’re tech-led, research-driven, and operate across multiple asset classes, including digital assets, with serious market presence.
Why: They’re assembling a brand-new, tightly focused team to build a high-performance trading platform from scratch. Zero legacy, full ownership. This is the kind of role where you’re shaping infra that will define how they trade over the next decade.
What: Low-latency, mission-critical system design, starting in Python or C++, with parts in Rust/Go where it makes sense. You'll cover everything from algo execution to connectivity and monitoring. Expect close collaboration with traders, researchers, and engineers, it’s a flat structure where good ideas rise fast.
Where: Based in London with flexibility for remote work. Office is there if you want it, but they care more about output than where you log in from.
How (much): Told us the base up to £300k, plus bonus and equity. They’re not playing small-ball here.
