Lead UX Designer

London

Hybrid - 3 days pw onsite

£70,000 to £80,000


We currently have a unique opportunity for a Lead UX Designer to join a one of a kind organistation in the not-for-profit space, whose customers are at the heart of everything they do.


You'll be joining a UX team working collaborative and cross-functional environment co-creating solutions grounded in real customer needs. This is an integral role and will play a lead role in continuously improving the design methodology, tools, processes and embedding UCD principles across the business. You will also developing, mentoring a leading a team of 3-5 UX Designers.


What you'll bring....


  • Extensive hands-on experience in roles such as Senior or Lead product/ UX designer, across multiple devices and platforms within B2C environment
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and mentoring people
  • Ability to form strong trust-based relationships with team members, peers, managers and stakeholders
  • Advocate and provide guidance on how to use customer insights and data to inform the user experience and present knowledge of users in ways such as user journey maps, personas screen flows and service blueprints
  • Experienced in designing end to end user experiences using qualitative and quantitative data to create digital user experience journey maps.
  • Experience using a test and iterate approach through usability studies, and collaborating on early UX research methods
  • Experiencing of cementing UCD design principles with a business.
  • Very strong communication skills, able to present and communicate to different types of audiences using a variety of artifacts and methods
  • You'll enjoy working in a collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment
  • Experience in applying WCAG accessibility standards



On top of the salary the successful candidate will receive a generous range of benefits which include: an annual discretionary bonus, non-contributory pension, 28 days holiday, PMI and 4 development days (for learning & development) plus many more.
