We're looking for a Learning and Development Advisor to join our Construction team. The L&D Advisor will support ongoing development of the newly launched Construction Training Matrix and support the identification and development of training solutions that broaden our technical training offering, as well as managing our preferred supplier list.
Location: Flexible on Location - hybrid working available, with travel to offices and sites as required
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
What will you be responsible for?
As a Learning and Development Advisor, you'll be working within the Construction Team, supporting them in the implementation and ongoing management of the technical training/core skills agenda.
The L&D Advisor will ensure the Learning Management System is optimised to enable the creation of regular training reports and data insights to issue to key stakeholders, highlighting trends and making recommendations on;
- Training activity
- Spend, including savings realised through provider management
- No shows
- Feedback
- Mandatory training gaps
- Grant income
They will also use the data to forecast training requirements and work with the regional training coordinators and training providers to leverage economies of scale and quality of provision, ensuring training compliance in accordance with organisational procedures, minimum standards and external legislation.
There will be a requirement to visit projects throughout the UK to work with stakeholders in a consultative approach to understand the current training needs and help shape the training offering.
What are we looking for?
This role of Learning and Development Advisor is great for you if:
- Experience of working in a Learning and Development role
- Relevant software experience such as PowerBi and Articulate 360
- The ability to interrogate data and present reports that provide valuable insights
- Experience of developing and managing training matrices
- Collaborative with experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of construction training and external awarding organisations and professional bodies linked to the industry
