We work closely with internal and external partners, including strategic stakeholders, digital designers, and facilitators, to deliver impactful learning experiences at every stage, from discovery to iteration. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) towards the end of 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing:
- Providing consultancy to shape the delivery of the Leadership and Talent proposition, for AXA’s core and common strategy, in collaboration with key business stakeholders and the UK Learning and Development centre of excellence
- Guiding and encouraging the business to cultivate a culture of continuous learning, where learning is ‘always on’ enabled through blended self-led learning resources that are deployed at point in need and in the flow of work
- Developing and maintain deep trusting and respectful relationships with key stakeholders to ensure curriculum content remains relevant, appropriate, future focused and is recognised as an enabler to business performance
- Leveraging these relationships to influence well and gain buy in and sponsorship
- Taking a strategically driven, outcome focused and evidenced based approach to promote our leadership and talent offering
- Collaborating with the wider learning and development team where gaps and improvements are identified to curate and create cost effective, sustainable, and scalable content with a digital first and holistic AXA UK&I mindset
- Contributing to all new work across the learning and development team through definition, discovery, design, development, deployment and iteration stages in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Providing visibility and report on engagement and usage, uplift in business performance and return on investment

What you’ll bring:
- Experienced Learning and Development professional with a good knowledge of learning and development practices
- Hold or working towards CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Learning and Development
- A good understanding of Learning and Development operating models, processes, tools, methodologies, techniques and adult learning practices
- Ability to understand, assimilate and analyse data and insights to identify root cause and develop a strong understanding of business outcomes and where L&D can enable
- Strong relationship, stakeholder management, influencing and social engagement skills with the ability to build trusting and respectful partnerships
- Action oriented, delivery focused and excellent project management skills with proven experience in planning, managing, and implementing programmes of work
- Passion for delivering high quality work and continuous improvement along with the ability to prioritise workloads and deal with conflicting priorities
- Good ability to draw down on external trends, emerging technologies to innovate the learning and development offer
- Proactive mindset to seek out ways to remain current and credible, identifying and anticipating emerging learning and technological trends, to innovate and improve learner engagement and effectiveness
- Experience of operating in a matrixed organisation would be advantageous
