Learning Support Assistant (25 Hours)
Ref: HP118 - Learning Support Assistant x 1 (Fixed Term Contract)
Start Date: 1st October 2025 (or ASAP thereafter)
End Date: Fixed Term Contract ends 17th July 2026
Full time/Part time: Part time, 25 hours per week, 5 days per week, term time only (38 weeks per year)
Start/Finish: 08:45-12:00 / 13:20-15:20
Please note: These contracts could be extended by a further academic year dependent on the number of children with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
The Role
The Learning Support Assistant’s (LSA) main role is to provide support for pupils with an ECHP and other children in the class with SEND. The LSA will implement personalised programmes, ensure that pupils can integrate as fully as possible in the activities generally undertaken by the other children in the class and make good progress.
Duties will include working with individuals and groups of children, running specific programmes and activities to assist the pupil’s individual learning and social needs. The LSA will be responsible for implementing the targets on the pupil’s EHCP in liaison with the class teacher and SENCO.
Salary
Salary Scale 3, SCP 05-06 (£30,120- £30,552 pro-rata) based on 2024/25 pay scales.

Qualifications
Education to Level 2 Math's and English or higher.
NVQ2/NVQ3 Or Equivalent Qualifications Or Experience Is Also Desirable.
