Grade 3 - £24,796 for 30 hours per week term time only for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £17,660.20 pro rata rising to 46.8 weeks, £18,045.79 pro rata per annum after 5 years service.
Haverfordwest High VC School is seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant. The successful candidate would join us in working in an environment which promotes excellence, inclusion and high expectations.
Working under the direction of the ALNCo or subject teacher, you will provide support to pupils aged 11 18 with learning/physical disabilities in mainstream and small group lessons. This could take the form of assisting the teacher through participation in class/group/individual lessons and contribute to the delivery of individual education plans (IEPs) under the direction of the subject teacher, or working one to one with a specific pupil.
A good standard of education, and an understanding of children/young peoples needs and rights, together with experience of working with children is essential for this role.
