About the Opportunity

EZAM HE SOLUTIONS LTD is seeking academics to join our flying faculty team, delivering intensive teaching blocks at partner universities in China as part of collaborative degree programmes with UK institutions.

This is a recurring short-term opportunity with teaching engagements typically scheduled during UK academic holiday periods (Easter: March–April; and late May–July). Each engagement lasts 1–2 months. Successful candidates may be invited for multiple teaching blocks across academic years, building a long-term partnership with our programmes.

Our programmes span multiple disciplines across several partner universities in Jiangxi and Sichuan Province, China, serving students enrolled in UK-China joint degree programmes validated by UK partner universities.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver undergraduate modules following UK curriculum and quality standards

- Prepare and adapt teaching materials for intensive block delivery

- Conduct assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback to students

- Participate in moderation processes as required by UK partner institutions

- Support student learning through office hours and academic guidance

- Collaborate with local teaching assistants and programme coordinators

- Complete required documentation for quality assurance purposes

- Participate in pre-departure briefings and post-teaching debriefs

Requirements

Essential

- Master's degree or above in a relevant discipline (PhD preferred)

- Teaching experience at UK higher education level

- Native or near-native English proficiency

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to deliver intensive teaching blocks (4-6 contact hours per day)

- Available for 1-2 month commitments during Easter and/or Summer periods

- Flexibility and adaptability in cross-cultural environments

- Valid passport with minimum 12 months' validity

Desirable

- Experience teaching international students

- Previous transnational education (TNE) experience

- Familiarity with UK QAA standards and quality assurance frameworks

- Experience with block/intensive teaching delivery

- Previous experience working or travelling in China

- Fellowship of Advance HE (FHEA/SFHEA)
