This post offers the successful candidate, the opportunity to provide inspirational practice education leadership for the Diagnostic Radiography programmes. You will lead and contribute towards teaching and learning across modules at undergraduate pre-registration level and where appropriate at postgraduate level. The post holder will create and support the delivery of high standard teaching materials. Support the DR team members with admissions, skills and simulation sessions. Provide support for assessments, marking and pastoral and placement support for students.
About You:
We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
- Current HCPC registration and a degree in Diagnostic Radiography
- Clinical/practice placement education experience and or teaching experience
- Experience in MRI/CT and or Ultrasound is desirable
- Audit, review, and improvement planning skills
- Previous research/publishing experience desirable but not essential
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organised and creative and have a good understanding of the HCPC requirements for pre-registration education. Also have supervisory experience working with students.
This post is open on a full-time, permanent basis to candidates who meet the Research Excellence Framework (REF) criteria at the time of appointment. Applicants should have a record of high-quality outputs in interdisciplinary research that meet REF standards. Applicants who do not currently meet REF criteria, may be offered a fixed-term appointment.
