Lecturer in Environmental Health

Role Description

The Lecturer in Environmental Health will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Environmental Health to a diverse range of students. This full-time hybrid role, based in Weston-Super-Mare, will include preparing lesson plans, conducting lectures, assessing student work, and providing academic support and feedback. The role also involves engaging with industry professionals, contributing to curriculum development, and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in Environmental Health. The course is delivered via hybrid learning so there are opportunities for hybrid working. We are seeking applications from candidates that have a specialism in Housing and Environmental Protection.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and expertise in Environmental Health, including current UK regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to engage with industry professionals and integrate real-world applications into teaching
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Master's degree or higher in Environmental Health or a related field
• Previous experience in a similar role in higher education is a plus
