Lecturer in Media, Film and TV

The School of Performance, Music and Media are looking for a highly motivated individual specialising in Film and Television with experience of multi-camera studio production to join their successful team. Course Leadership

You should have industry experience and your skillset should include video production, audio production and editing plus a thorough understanding of media theory.

Due to the nature of the courses to be taught, it is important that the successful candidate has in-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite. (InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects).

You should be committed to providing prompt, detailed assessment of learners’ work.

Ideally you will hold a current teaching qualification and have personal tutor and course leadership experience however, mentoring and training will be available for those who haven’t. You should also hold qualifications in your own discipline and have clear evidence of continued professional development.

The successful candidate will teach across multiple levels and courses within the department across our Watford and Hemel Hempstead Campuses.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 10th August 2025. The successful candidate will join our team from 18th August 2025.
