This role would be based in our Edinburgh office.
Our Team
We are looking to hire a highly driven Legal Administrator/Secretary to join our successful Private Client team on a fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave, based in Edinburgh.

The Role
As a Legal Administrator/Secretary at Gilson Gray you will be responsible for:
· Liaising with internal and external clients by email, telephone and face to face.
· Opening and closing client files.
· Carrying out client identity checks.
· Preparing and amending documents.
· Dictation and audio typing.
· Assisting with general administrative duties.
· Diary management.
Required Knowledge and Experience
· Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work deadlines.
· Good written and oral communication skills.
· You will have the ability to develop strong working relationships within the team as well as communicate concisely both verbally and in writing both internal and external clients.
· A calm, helpful and professional approach.
· IT competent, particularly with reference to the use of Word and Excel.
