We have a new opportunity for a Legal Compliance Manager to join our Legal & Governance on a fixed tern basis of 12 months. You will be an experienced compliance professional and a creative and pragmatic problem solver with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders. You will be able to translate and simplify complex regulatory requirements into effective guidance and optimised processes.
About The Role
You’ll work closely with our Senior Legal Compliance Manager to help support the SLCM in developing, implementing, maintaining and managing a broad compliance framework across the organisation.
You’ll take the lead on key initiatives in the areas of Data Protection, Access and Benefit Sharing, National Security & Investment, Trusted Research and Anti-Fraud, Bribery and Corruption.
You’ll be project managing, collaborating across teams, spotting gaps, influencing decision-making, and helping drive a culture of continuous improvement.

The Legal Team is responsible for drafting and negotiating all agreements related to our activities, including all of our varied research collaborations, projects and materials transfers. The team also has expertise in a host of additional areas, such as providing support on data protection and confidentiality, data release via EDAM and legal queries
