The Company
Our client is a leading global alternative investment manager with over $30bn in assets under management. With a highly diversified platform spanning real estate, private credit, and a range of investment strategies, the firm has established itself as one of the premier players in the sector. We have been engaged to find a Newly Qualified (0–2 PQE) lawyer with a corporate background to join their London legal team. This is a rare opportunity to take on a broad in-house role at an early stage of your career, supporting the business across a wide variety of matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Advising on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including work related to real estate, private credit, and other investment strategies.
- Supporting on fund formation, structuring, and governance matters.
- Advising on regulatory issues impacting the business.
- Providing guidance on employment, commercial contracts, and general corporate advisory work.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business and external counsel on high-value, complex matters.
Requirements:
- NQ–2 PQE, trained at a leading law firm or alternative investment firm.
- Strong corporate/M&A or private equity background; additional experience in funds, finance, or regulatory work would be advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent academic record.
