Description

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to support UK data center development and operations. This role partners with Development, Real Estate, Construction, Energy/Utilities, Sales, and Operations, providing commercial contracting and legal support while enabling business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for real estate, EPC/construction, power/utility supply, and customer colocation.
Support zoning, permitting, and community agreements.
Lead procurement and vendor contracts (equipment, SaaS, services).
Advise on compliance: privacy, cybersecurity, sanctions, safety, environmental.
Assist with financing, insurance, and dispute management.
Develop contract templates, playbooks, and provide team training.

Qualifications

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; active bar license in the UK
3-8+ years at a top law firm or in-house (data center, energy/infrastructure, real estate, or complex commercial deals).
Strong experience with EPC/construction, real estate, utility, or customer agreements.
