Legal Counsel - Real Estate (FTC)
Our client, a leading multinational financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced commercial real estate lawyer to join its in-house legal team on a 3-month fixed-term contract, to start March 2026. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support a global real estate strategy within a high-performing, international environment.
In this position, you will support the organisation’s strategic real estate activity, including global office expansion, property development, acquisitions, disposals, and complex leasing arrangements. You will take a lead role in transactional drafting and negotiations, working closely with business stakeholders to deliver commercially sound and operationally efficient solutions.
You will manage a broad range of real estate matters, ranging from standardised agreements to bespoke, high-value transactions. Key responsibilities include structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial leases and related contracts, managing external counsel, advising internal business clients, and supporting the ongoing management of the organisation’s international real estate portfolio. You will also assist in the implementation of process improvements, resolve issues within existing commercial relationships, and support pre-litigation matters as required.
The successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced organisation. A competitive compensation package is offered, commensurate with experience.
