Legal Secretary

Salary: £26-28,000

Location: Frome

Prior experience as a Legal Secretary is required.

OVERVIEW

Join a well-established and reputable law firm as a Private Client Legal Secretary, providing essential support to fee earners and helping to deliver an efficient client experience. You’ll be a part of a close-knit, friendly team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Audio typing and preparing legal documents, letters and forms
Maintaining accurate filing systems (digital and paper)
Opening and closing client files in line with compliance procedures
Managing diaries, appointments and meeting arrangements
Handling incoming calls, emails and client enquiries professionally
Assisting with billing, document organisation and general administrative support

ABOUT YOU

Previous legal secretarial experience 1+ years
Audio typing skills and strong attention to detail
Confident communicator with a friendly, professional approach

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Comfortable working in a supportive, team-focused environment

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
