Legal Secretary

We are working with a leading specialist law firm who specialise in Sports Law.

The firn are seeking an experienced Legal PA to provide maternity cover for a minimum of 12 months. This is an excellent opportunity to support Partners and fee-earners within a high-performing team handling complex, high-profile work.

The Role

You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, acting as a key point of contact within the team and ensuring the smooth running of matters on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing monthly billing and expenses, liaising with fee earners, accounts and clients
• Opening new clients and matters, conducting conflict checks and drafting engagement letters
• Document and file management, including drafting correspondence, preparing bundles and archiving
• Diary management, meeting coordination and travel arrangements
• Overseeing meeting room bookings and greeting clients and visitors
• Managing post, couriers and liaising with external suppliers
• Acting as a point of contact for outsourced IT and accounts support
• Supporting ad hoc projects such as marketing activity, client events and staff socials

Experience & Skills Required

• Previous experience as a Legal PA
• Strong involvement in the billing process
• Excellent diary management and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with a professional, positive manner
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work well under pressure
• High attention to detail and strong MS Office skills
• An interest in the sport sector is advantageous
