About The Lettings Negotiator Role
As a
Lettings Negotiator, you will help landlords let their properties quickly and efficiently while guiding tenants through the renting process. This is a busy, rewarding position where you will be booking and conducting viewings, negotiating lets, and supporting clients every step of the way.
You’ll work closely with the Senior Lettings Negotiator and Lettings Manager, gaining valuable experience and building a strong base for career progression within our company.
Key Responsibilities - Lettings Negotiator

Property Viewings & Negotiations
- Book and conduct property viewings with prospective tenants.
- Handle negotiations between landlords and tenants to secure successful lets.

Lead Generation & New Business
- Support the team by helping to generate new landlord leads through calls, canvassing, and local marketing.
- Assist in booking market appraisals.

Client Care & Relationship Management
- Maintain regular contact with landlords and tenants, providing excellent service at all times.
- Be a positive representative of Bourne Estate Agents within the local community.

Progression & Administration
- Oversee the lettings process from offer accepted through to move-in, ensuring all paperwork and compliance checks are complete.
- Keep accurate records on the CRM system.

Performance & Targets
- Work towards agreed personal and branch targets for lets agreed, instructions, and lead generation.
- Stay up to date with the local lettings market and competitor activity.
Key Skills & Experience - Lettings Negotiator
✅
Previous experience in lettings or estate agency preferred but not essential.
✅ Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
✅ Strong customer service approach with a positive, can-do attitude.
✅ Confident working to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Good knowledge of the local area (Surrey/Farnham) is an advantage.
✅ Well-organised with strong attention to detail.
✅ Full UK driving licence and own car required.
✅ IT literate with CRM experience a plus.
