A great opportunity to step into a Vice President position within a high-performing Leveraged Finance team at the heart of a leading CIB platform in London.
We are seeking a proven dealmaker with strong execution experience and a deep understanding of the European sponsor finance market to help originate, structure and execute complex debt transactions across the capital structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of sponsor-backed financings including LBOs, recapitalisations, refinancings and dividend deals
- Act as day-to-day lead on transactions, managing internal and external stakeholders, junior resource and external advisors
- Prepare and present high-quality materials for credit committees and clients
- Support origination through idea generation, pitch development, and maintaining sponsor relationships
- Collaborate with industry coverage, M&A and capital markets teams to deliver holistic financing solutions
- Coach and develop Analysts and Associates within the team
Candidate Profile:
- 6–10 years of experience in leveraged finance, acquisition finance or structured lending
- Strong track record of executing sponsor-led transactions within a leading investment bank or credit-focused platform
- Deep understanding of credit risk, capital structures, documentation and market dynamics
- Confident in managing senior clients and internal stakeholders
- Proactive, commercially minded and capable of operating with autonomy
