Description

JMC Aviation are working with a MRO company based in Manchester, looking to recruit a new B1 Licensed Engineer to join their team.

This client is a leading MRO dealing with line and base maintenance as well as interior modifications and fuel systems repair and maintenance for both commercial and military aircraft. The company has been operating for close to 30 years, providing outstanding customer service and encouraging a warm, positive environment to aid employee progression.

This is a Permanent Position based in Manchester, UK.

Monday – Friday, working 15:00 - 23:30.

The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to carry out and certify aircraft maintenance requirements.

Other Duties Involve

Ensuring all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements are accomplished
Defect rectification on inbound aircraft
Carrying out engineering dispatch of all aircraft as required
Complying with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE
Ensuring all work undertaken is in line with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations

In order to be successful in this role the B1 Licensed Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes

UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence
Typed rated on Boeing B777 (type courses available)
Previous base maintenance experience
Must have wide body experience
Right to live and work in the UK
