As part of our continued investment in intelligent lighting, we’re looking for a technically minded Lighting Controls Specialist to help drive innovation and support our growing controls portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity to become the go-to expert in lighting controls—supporting everything from product integration to customer solutions and aftersales troubleshooting. If you’ve got an electrical or electronics background and a passion for problem-solving, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll do:
- Be our in-house specialist for all things lighting controls—from local systems to central management platforms (CMS)
- Work closely with sales, product, engineering, and marketing to deliver reliable, high-performing control solutions
- Manage day-to-day control enquiries and support the specification of compatible control philosophies
- Own and develop relationships with key controls partners and suppliers
- Lead and document compatibility testing across luminaires and controls
- Support aftersales teams with troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Define and support controls service plans and commissioning strategies
- Create and maintain internal documentation, installation guides, and assembly instructions
What we’re looking for:
- A hands-on technical specialist with an electrical or electronics background
- Experience or working knowledge of lighting controls and CMS platforms
- Comfortable interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams and under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and a structured, process-driven approach
- Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation
- A proactive mindset with a ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to grow
- Educated to HNC/HND or degree level in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
