Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Linehaul Despatcher located in FedEx Marston Gate. The Linehaul Despatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing the scheduling and dispatching of shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all relevant regulations. The role involves daily interaction with drivers, managing logistics to optimize efficiency, and addressing any issues that arise during transit.

• Experience in logistics, scheduling, and dispatching
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of relevant transportation regulations and compliance requirements
• Competency with logistics software and computer systems
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or related field is a plus
