Re:link, Linklaters’ legal resourcing platform, is seeking an experienced interim lawyer to support our clients on an upcoming assignment. We are looking for a legal professional with a strong track record in OTC derivatives and detailed familiarity with FIA terms.


About the assignment


You will work with a leading financial institution, providing expert guidance on OTC derivatives transactions, documentation, and associated regulatory considerations. The assignment requires hands-on experience with industry-standard documentation (including ISDA and FIA agreements), negotiation of transactional terms, and a solid understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks.


Key requirements


  • Qualified lawyer with significant post-qualification experience in derivatives, particularly OTC markets
  • In-depth knowledge of FIA terms and the relevant documentation
  • Experience advising on regulatory, transactional, and risk considerations related to derivatives
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver practical, solutions-focused advice
