What’s the role? …
We have a vacancy for an Operations Manager to lead a 24 hour, 365 day a year telecare team who provide the calls handling and response service to over 4,500 connections within the Borough. The successful person will get involved with contract management and performance monitoring as well as building contacts and collaborating with Health, Social Care and Housing colleagues.

What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who has worked within the telecare field and can hit the ground running. We are hoping to attract someone who can work to offer a new way of providing telecare as we transition from analogue to digital with SMART devices which means considering different ways of providing technology enabled care.
You will be experienced in managing staff as well as resilient and flexible in your approach.
Location
The job is based in Ladywell SE13. There is an opportunity to work from home but this is based on the needs of the service and the team.
Special conditions
- Able to cover Manager on call out of hours rota (generally 1 week in 3)
- Desirable: Post Qualifying awards/ professional development e.g. relevant MSc; management qualification
- The job is subject to an enhanced DBS check

Salary
£50,646 - £52,674 per annum (P04)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
