Live Audio Engineer – Hertfordshire / Onsite
A leading live events and production company is looking for a Live Audio Engineer to join their growing technical team. If you thrive in fast paced environments, love creative problem solving and enjoy delivering exceptional live experiences, this could be a great next step.
The Role
In this hands-on position, you’ll be responsible for delivering high quality audio across a wide range of live events. You’ll work from prep through to show time, handling system builds, RF coordination, mixing, installation and de-rigging. You’ll collaborate closely with project teams, support clients onsite and play a key role in bringing complex productions to life.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Deliver outstanding audio for live events
• Mix live shows including music and spoken word
• Prep, test and build audio systems
• Manage RF across multiple projects
• Install and de-rig systems with precision
• Work closely with project teams to understand technical and client requirements
• Share your knowledge and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
What We’re Looking For
• Strong experience in live audio engineering
• Confident with digital control systems (e.g. Yamaha, DiGiCo)
• Knowledge of speaker systems design (e.g. d&b, L-Acoustics)
• Experience managing RF systems (e.g. Sennheiser, Shure)
• Understanding of acoustic principles
• Working knowledge of general production techniques across IT, rigging, power and data
• Someone who’s detail focused, communicative and takes pride in delivering great work

Details
• Location: Hertfordshire
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (flexibility required)
• Salary: Dependent on experience
