Main Purpose:
As a key member of the global Live Engineering team, the Live Engineer is responsible for the design, build, testing, and delivery of live and occasional use broadcast services worldwide. The role is both proactive - anticipating technical needs, driving improvements, and supporting innovation, and reactive - responding swiftly to operational challenges and escalations.
Working closely with internal teams across regions, the Live Engineer ensures robust solutions, seamless service delivery, and effective support for critical live events. By adhering to company standards and collaborating with colleagues, the Live Engineer directly supports the Director, Live Engineering in achieving strategic objectives, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the broadcast organisation.
The role is part of a multi-regional engineering team that adopts a ‘follow-the-sun’ project and support model to ensure coverage for Encompass’ regional operations.
