The role will be responsible for leading the review and refinancing of £100m of loans to Partners with the objective to externally fund these. The project will support the Group in reducing the Group’s capital requirement to fund these loans.
What you'll be doing:
- Working with SMEs in the Partner Lending team to re-underwrite loans to assess affordability, obtaining additional information from the borrower as required.
- Preparation and issuing of loan deeds and documents to facilitate the sale of Partner loans to an external funder.
- Communicating directly with Partners to gather additional financial information and to sign loan agreements to facilitate the refinance of their loan to an external lender.
- Working with the Project Manager to track, monitor and report on the delivery of the project.
Essential Criteria
- Experience within or the ability to understand and interpret financial accounts including a profit and loss statement.
- Experience or knowledge of lending.
- Strong Excel skills ie; Vlookups, Sum-ifs, Conditional formatting, etc.
- Strong organisational skills and confident in stakeholder communications.
